I’ve scheduled an APICS exam, what will happen?

The Pearson Vue test centers have taken extra precautions. Your exam appointment will proceed as scheduled unless you receive an email cancellation.

I’ve scheduled an exam, but I’m ill

Pearson Vue won’t allow people that have flu-like symptoms to take tests, please reschedule your test. If you have trouble getting in touch with Pearson Vue, try your test center. If you encounter any problems, please contact us.

I have bought an exam credit that is about to expire

Currently, test centers in The Netherlands are still open, although availability can be limited you can’t extend an exam credit. If there is no availability, please broaden your area and try multiple dates

Can I reschedule my APICS exam because of Corona concerns?

If you are inquiring about a future scheduled exam that you wish to cancel due to coronavirus concerns, testing center shut down or government closures, please contact Pearson VUE customer support at https://home.pearsonvue.com/apics/contact.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Pearson VUE is temporarily waiving the $45 rescheduling fee. You are welcome to log into your account page to reschedule your exam at no additional fee. If your exam is scheduled in the next 24 to 72 hours and you are unsure if your exam has been cancelled or feel unsafe testing, ASCM encourages you to reschedule your exam. 

What about DDI (Demand Driven Institute) exams?

These exams can be taken online, on a self-chosen time and location. There is no limit or problem known for these exams.

Current students

Will my course continue?

All current courses will be delivered as online classroom sessions or postponed. This measure will be in effect until the Dutch RIVM quarantine advises change and people can meet again.
                All current students have been notified about the changes to their specific group.

When will my new APICS course start?

We have shifted the start dates beyond the RIVM quarantine measures. If the advice is prolonged, we will drop the lessons that are scheduled in the quarantine period and add them at the end of the course schedule.

New students

Can I still register an APICS/ASCM membership?

Yes, ASCM/APICS offices in Chicago are closed but the staff is working from home. This could lead to longer lead times.

Can I still register for a guided e-learning or self-study course?

Yes, we are open and able to process incoming registrations. Currently, the package services are operating normally, course materials can be shipped to you. APICS courses also include e-books, that can be downloaded from the APICS learning environment.

Can I register for an online classroom APICS course?

Yes, we are open and able to process incoming registrations. In our planning (all start dates) you can see when the next online classroom session is scheduled and see the rest of the course planning.

Can I still register for a classroom course?

Yes, we shifted the start dates beyond the RIVM quarantine measurements. If the advice is extended, we will drop the lessons in the quarantine period and add them at the end of the course schedule.

Can I register for another course (CPF, DDP, and DDL)?

Yes, we will deliver the courses as online classroom sessions or we will postpone them. New start dates will be published on our website soon.
